Barbara Szczepańska

Professional background: Barbara is a librarian and information specialist. After graduation, she worked in the information department of the academic library, than after a few years she moved to the law firm sector, with which she is still working today, currently as a Research Services Manager at Hogan Lovells.

She also developed her interest in copyright by broadening her knowledge on postgraduate studies and in action.

Barbara is an experienced conference lecturer, trainer and an author of publications on Copyright, Open Access and Access to Information Law. During her career she has been a member of several professional organizations, serving as the copyright advocacy and policy advisor.

From the 1999 to 2015 she was as an editor of Bulletin EBIB http://open.ebib.pl/ojs/ an open access journal and Electronic Library http://www.ebib.pl/ service for Polish librarians.
